Didi Gregorius - Chief Sport Officer

Mariekson Julius "Didi" Gregorius, is a baseball icon and a shortstop for the Philadelphia Phillies. He previously played for New York Yankees and the Cincinnati Reds in 2012 and the Arizona Diamondbacks in 2013 and 2014. He was born in Amsterdam, and grew up on Curaçao from age five. His grandfather Antonio was one of the greatest Curaçaoan pitchers of the mid-20th century. Didi is actually Sir Didi, because he was knighted after winning the 2011 Baseball World Cup with the Dutch team. We consider it a great honor that he is willing to do his phenomenal work for Blue Bay. His input in organizing our annual Blue Bay Baseball week, for example, is priceless.
